Browser and platform support
The web SDK uses Web Bluetooth.
| Platform | Browser | Works |
|---|---|---|
| Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS | Chrome, Edge | Yes |
| Android | Chrome, Edge | Yes |
| iPhone, iPad | Any (Safari, Chrome, …) | No: iOS has no Web Bluetooth |
| Any | Firefox | No |
| Any | Safari (macOS) | No |
On unsupported browsers, connect() throws bluetooth_unavailable. Check first with isWebBluetoothAvailable(), and offer the virtual toy or point players to a supported browser. For iPhone, use the React Native SDK (coming soon).
